Dear author,
Thank you for considering Red House Publishing as a home for your work! We’re always excited to review new submissions. Please follow these simple guidelines when sending us your manuscript:
- Please email your complete manuscript as a .doc or .docx Word file.
- In your email, include a short cover letter with your contact info, manuscript title and word count. Give us a brief overview of your work and why you think it would fit well with Red House Publishing.
- Format the manuscript with double-spaced text in 12-point Times New Roman or a similar easy-to-read font. Use 1-inch margins.
- Number those pages!
- Send your precious cargo to redhouse1publishing@gmail.com
- We aim to respond within 12 weeks of receiving your submission (usually much sooner). If it’s chosen for publication, we’ll be in touch about next steps.
- Simultaneous submissions are A-OK! Just let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere.
- We love fiction and nonfiction. For fiction, send complete stories, novellas, or novels. For nonfiction, query first before sending a full manuscript.
- We accept submissions year-round, but response times may be a bit slower in the summer and holidays.
